Miguel Barreto

About Me!

Miguel Barreto is a Puerto Rican actor based in New York City and a proud U.S. Army veteran. He holds a BFA in Acting for Film from the New York Film Academy and works across film, television, and theater.

His film work includes leading roles in Who Knows (dir. Yuntao Liu) and 30 Hours (dir. Jonathan Whittaker), with supporting roles in Spoken (dir. Xavier Bastidas) and Benevolence (dir. Kenny Vazquez). On television, he appeared in a recurring role as Misael on Casi Casi Familia (WIPR-TV).

On stage, Miguel has performed as Bobo in A Raisin in the Sun and Bob Enright in 9 to 5: The Musical with InterAct Theatre Productions, Brian in DNA, and Henry Peters in Trifles with Unscene Theater Company. He also appeared in the ensemble of BARBA: A Brazilian Body Percussion Musical directed by Luis Salgado.

Miguel has also appeared in national and regional commercial campaigns.
