Miguel Barreto is a Puerto Rican actor based in New York City and a proud U.S. Army Veteran.
A graduate of the New York Film Academy with a BFA in Acting for Film, Miguel has brought his talent to both screen and stage. His film credits include Who Knows (Yuntao Liu), 30 Hours (Jonathan Whittaker), Spoken (Xavier Bastidas), and Benevolence (Kenny Vazquez).
On television, he held a recurring role in WIPR’s Casi Casi Familia, and he has appeared in national and regional commercials for Toyota, The Barnes Firm, and Celino Law Firm. His stage work includes DNA directed by Charlie Tucker, Trifles directed by Charlotte Fiehn, and BARBA: A Brazilian Body Percussion Musical directed by Luis Salgado.
Beyond his artistic career, Miguel is passionate about connecting with nature in his free time and raising his voice on environmental issues that affect both his community and the world.
He is committed to telling stories that resonate, inspire, and reflect both his Puerto Rican heritage and the universal human experience.
